I'm Nina, and I started this blog in October 2009 to document my daily style. I'm 26, live in Philadelphia, and am a history PhD student. I'm also a modern Orthodox Jew.
I'm not particularly enamored of "modesty" as a concept, and try to work within the restrictions of my faith to create outfits that are unique, fun and anything but drab. Since I'm in school (history books cost way more than my stipend would suggest) and married to a medical resident, I also have a strict budget for clothing. I try to showcase creative style from items I already own, and remix like nobody's business.
