The funny thing about pregnancy (other than the feeling of something moving around inside of you, which is both bizarre and amazing) is how different I look every day. At dinner with friends last night I was told that I am not showing at all. Today, wearing this admittedly bulkifying ruffled shirt and bump-defining belt, I felt positively identifiable walking down the street.
My summer is quickly coming to an end (I begin Teaching Assistant training tomorrow morning), so some friends and I caught a matinee showing of Beasts of the Southern Wild to celebrate our last day of freedom. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend you do! The 7-year-old protagonist manages to completely carry the film, and I loved the mix of fantasy and harsh reality of post-Katrina Louisiana.

Can't wait to see you make maternity clothes look chic!
Do you miss wine?!
Such a pretty top - but why would you even think of belting it?
Just so I don't look like one large shelf from bust-pubis. Yknow.
I was never much of a wine drinker, so not really. Sushi is a whole different story!
That is an amazing top. Having experienced it I agree that it's amazing how much you change from day to day when you're pregnant. You are definitely identifiable!
That top is super pretty! I love the ruffles.
