1. Fancy-pants sweatshirts are fantastic. This one has puffed shoulders and a slim fit, which make it less gym class, more Sunday morning brunch.

2. I have become obsessed with mixing neutrals. Here, an army green scarf, taupe top and camel shoes play off the deep eggplant of the skirt.

3. In an effort to ward off the growing mullethood of my former pixie, I've invented a style I dubbed the "phonytail." It involves grabbing whatever hair can fit into a small barrette and pinning the rest.  Thankfully, I don't have to look at the back of my head.
