These photos are not from today. Instead, I am wearing the official snowday uniform: Hanes tee, zipup sweatshirt, and leggings, which are the essential components to a successful Mario Kart Wii session. Plus baking. For some reasons, snow days turn me into the homemaker I am not (exhibit a: the sourdough starter I have brewing near the radiator in the living room. I foresee yeasty deliciousness in the very near future.)

Since I can't actually hibernate, I've been doing the next best thing: swathing myself in my largest and blanketiest sweaters. From the back, I'm all business: fitted pencil skirt, short brown sweater. Then the party appears in the front: hello, incredibly large sweater/shawl/scarf! This mullet-like confection got lots of longing looks from my coworkers. I think they wanted to crawl inside and take a nap.
Does your clothing shape change with the weather?

Truly snuggly chic! I love MarioKart (I demand to be Yoshi, or else I pout) :-)
I tend to hide under bigger clothes in the winter. My husband and I like to plsy Wii on our days off.
You look amazing Nina, I wish a could have such a pretty sweater!
I think this is the sweater I saw on "Kell on Earth" that you can wear a bunch of different ways. Anyways, it does look comfy. Lovely as always!
I love that sweater and shawl in one! I sometimes wrap one of my scarves like a cape, with a sweater underneath, but it rarely stays in place the way it should. Your sweater creates a similar effect but seems much more functional.
I found your blog about two days ago, and since then have read every single post! I love your fun writing, your sense of humour and - of course - your individual, quirky and bright style. Thanks for bringing a little sunshine to a dreary, grey weekend.
I absolutely LOVE this sweater-wrap-cardigan thingummy - it's awesome! I'm going to look out for something similar for our cool Edinburgh climate.
Just so you know, while I was reading your blog, my 2 year old son climbed onto my lap, pointed at a photo of you and said "pittty!", which is his word for "pretty". :-D
