Sorry for being MIA over the past few days. I had a nasty virus that kept me sweatshirted and shoeless, but I'm back in action now.
Today I am wearing:
-white tee, Rebecca Beeson
-oatmeal swingy sweater, Press
-black pencil skirt, American Apparel
-creme lace tights, Tracy Ellis Platinum
-brown boots, Studio Polini
-metallic braided belt, Gap
-scarf, random store in Israel
-camel hat, Anne Klein
Today's outfit is a bit of a pastiche of this week's clothing; can we pretend it is a "best of" rather than just wearing the same things over and over again? Ok, thanks. I woke up at the ungodly hour of 7 (on a Sunday) to get to synagogue before work, since last night and today is the Jewish holiday of Purim. It is one of my favorites: a bit of Halloween with costumes and treats, and the injunction to be happy (which in Jewish law actually translates as drunk. No joke.) Since I was still feeling a bit under the weather I didn't dress up, but I had been planning on going last night as Frida Kahlo (though hubs rejected Diego Rivera as "fat and ugly.")
The outfit today is comfortable, warm and will allow my stomach to grow when I get together with the family for the Purim feast this afternoon. I am so happy that I found this scarf, which had been sitting in the pocket of one of my suitcases the whole winter! I felt like I matched my enviroment perfectly, with the luminous and colorful decor of the museum interior.

The light streaming in from the stained glass windows today at work is just glorious. I noticed how the windows reflected off my engagement ring, and managed to get a pretty neat shot.
