Hubs: That title has nothing to do with your post
Nina: I know, but get it? Third day of 30x30, 3 blind mice?
Hubs: I get it. There aren't too many songs with number 29 in the title. Just so you know.

The heat went on at the museum last week, which means my office is now approximately the temperature of Dante's Inferno. Not that I was there, or anything, but if I had to imagine what it would feel like- hot, itchy and dry- my basement office with no windows would make a good stand in. Rather than try and fight it, today I went with just a plain cotton tee, which I thankfully included in the 30x30 lineup. Apparently not planning works out really well.
While taking these pictures, a little girl and her grandmother decided to park down on the bench next to me. I moved away, but as I walked away from the park saw the little girl posing for her grandmother with her hands on her hips. Adorable and embarrassing, all at the same time.
And can I say again (but for the first time this season) how much I love these booties? Even the high school girls that are still sitting outside my apartment at 8:30 PM (yup, I can hear you. Loud and clear.) told me that they were hot. I am now slightly less annoyed at being woken up by their conversations about hair and boys every morning.

I love the hat! And the story about the little girl is just too cute! Think of it as you inspired her :-)

haha your husband is funny, I love your outfit Nina, especially the boots! I thought they were vintage!
Those boots are completely amazing! Jeffrey Campbell... should have known. :) I don't think there is a single pair of JC's I don't love!
This skirt is great! I love big buttons.
What a funny conversation. I love your outfit. The weather has been weirdly warm here, so dressing has been weird for me, also. I chose mostly warm weather items.. so good job on at least having something suitable to wear in warmer conditions. haha.
