Little Belts and Puffy Skirts

Friday night was dinner at another couple's apartment in the neighborhood. Fun times all around.

I was wearing:
-oatmeal patterned tank, Generra
-black cashmere cardi, Wendy B.
-black polka dotted skirt, French Connection
-black patent belt, H&M
-black tights, H&M
-black suede boots, Ann Taylor Loft
-locket necklace, Ann Taylor

(I tried self-timer, and look who popped up in the background!)

I had never thought to pair the tank and skirt together, but quite liked the effect. The rest of the tank, hidden underneath, has a great forest-like print, but I tucked it in for maximum blousiness over the belt. The cashmere cardigan kept me nice and warm, and I was glad for the knee-high boots which shielded me from the brutal winds. They are a bit past their prime, and this is probably their last season, but I just love the lace-up effect they've got going on. Fun but somehow not tarty.

Still wearing the locket necklace I rediscovered a few days ago. This happens all the time- I won't wear something for months, and then find myself wearing it with every single outfit.

Ooooh! Super cute! Love this outfit and adore the boots! So sad that they're getting old, but they are still super zoom pow!
